It is raining off and on, mostly on for the last half hour, a monsoon-type rain, like we had in Puerto Rico when I was a child, or in Virginia. But not warm like those rains…

Big, heavy drops, beating down the leaves, the branches, beating into the earth, the roof, beating rolling thumping.
