Today in my garden

A long time since I had a post like this.

The plants on the mound are hanging in there. Among the tall, dry grasses are signs of the secret garden waiting to emerge.

Somewhere in all this, a large fennel and my lovely pink rose that makes its own nosegays.

And further up the hill, behind my lovely chestnut, cedar and elderberries…

In the morning, we saw:

One load.  It took at least 7.

And in the evening, we saw:

Yep.  Foundation filled.  Ready for the beginnings of the plumbing, and the installation of the reinforcing bars and wires that comes before the radiant tubing is applied....
