Not much happening this week, but Tom got our family web logs migrated to the new domain host. Seamless, from my perspective, but it took him a bit of time and research.
Now I need to reconfigure the webcam stuff on my machine to work with the new host. It won’t be hard, but waiting to hear back from Tom about the passwords and such.
Meantime, a friend IM’d me yesterday with a website she goes to frequently, started by Kim Komando. The Kim Komando She bills herself as the "digital goddess" and has articles and links — and a variety of email newsletters — that are useful to ‘Net Dabblers such as myself. She also has links to cool websites that are kid-appropriate, games and such, and goes to a lot of trouble to educate people about ‘Net safety.
